Invaluable Experience

U.S. Forest Service (USFS) Region 2   Alabama National Guard (ALARNG)

JGMS prepared 10 EAs for 3 National Forests throughout north-central Colorado covering 6 million acres. Projects included multiple inventories for cultural resources, a stream realignment design project, large scale watershed condition assessments, biological assessments, geologic inventories, and conveyance analysis for properties as well as others. All projects required extension GIS data development and analysis and the creation of high quality GIS maps.

JGMS provided professional environmental staff services to the ALARNG. Hundreds of project reviews for Record of Environmental Consideration, environmental assessments and the management of threatened and endangered species, wetlands, forest programs, and hazardous materials were completed throughout the state. JGMS positions at the ALARNG included three Natural Resources Specialists, a GIS Specialist, a Team (NEPA) Leader, and a Master Planner.
