Day 13: Children’s Medical Care and Family Support

St. Jude

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital works to advance cures and prevention for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases through research and treatment. St. Jude combines patient care with ground-breaking research and freely shares its discoveries so children everywhere can benefit. Impact

  • Increased overall U.S. childhood cancer survival rate from 20% in 1962 to more than 80% today

  • 9,000+ children are seen annually for treatment and ongoing research

  • Treats children from all 50 states and around the world

  • 89% of the funding needed for the years ahead is expected to come from private donors
