Dollar For is a nonprofit that helps people reduce or eliminate unaffordable hospital bills by connecting them with hospital financial assistance, also known as charity care. Rather than purchasing medical debt, Dollar For helps patients determine whether they qualify for existing hospital assistance programs and supports them through the application process. A large piece of their work includes making sure people know about assistance they may already be entitled to receive.
